Comedy icon Chokoleit’s real name is Jonathan Aguilar Garcia. As per his wiki, he was born on June 25, 1972, in Davao City, Philippines. Chokoleit was best known as Pearly Shell from the Philippine television series Marina.
The late comedian also used to work as an actor and TV host. At the time of death, his age was 48 years. Chokoleit had a breakthrough in the entertainment industry from Kakampi ko ang Diyos in 2004.
Chokoleit reached the height of his career in 2015; in that year, he landed a role in four movies and Television dramas.

Chokoleit cause of death
Chokoleit’s death was confirmed on March 9, 2019. His cause of death is reported to be a Cardiac arrest- a sudden loss of blood flow due to the failure of the heart to pump blood effectively.
Before his death, Chokoleit had just given a performance in Abra province- a landlocked province of the Philippines in Luzon. After the show, it was reported that he was having difficulty breathing. Immediately, he was rushed to a local health care center, Abra Provincial Hospital.
According to the doctor who treated Chokoleit in the hospital, his cause of death is precisely pulmonary edema and heart attack. Dr. Rosauro Seares explained pulmonary edema as a condition caused by excess fluid in the lungs.
In the death announcement statement, Star Magic wrote,
“Chokoleit was performing in an out of town show in Abra, and experienced difficulty in breathing after his performance.”

Chokoleit’s online profile shows no records of his marriage and wife. Though his age was approaching 50, it appears the comedian wasn’t roused to begin a family.
