I saw The King Dick Dale in Fort Collins Co. at a venu named The Aggie. It was an awesome show. I think it was 2015. I cant swear to that but I know that has to be close. I saw DD back in the 90’S at the Cabooze Bar in Minneapolis Minnesota. I think his son Jimmie was drummer back then. He was Great back then at his age. There was nobody as fast as DD back then and never will be. I remember he always had a pouch of guitar pics because he would wear so many out or break them during his performances,because he only played the “heavy strings” and used the heaviest strings made (spiral wound). I will never forget him and the energy he displayed.
