Bravo TV, through which all the Below Deck series is broadcasted, announced a new iteration of the popular Below Deck franchise.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht premiered on Monday, February 3, at 9 pm.
Unlike in previous seasons where the crew hit the open water with a motor yacht, the new crew does something new in Below Deck Sailing Yacht. This season documents a new crew under the captainship of Glenn Shephard aboard a 180-foot long sailing yacht. The name of the sailing yacht is Parsifal III.
Parsifal is an award-winning sea voyager and is famed for its sleep design and cramped crew’s living quarters.
Although their route on the Ionian Sea is a paradise for Parsifal guests, the crew goes through an intense physicality of yacht sailing and teamwork.
The executive producer of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Mark Cronin, once said that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is “the most intense Below Deck ever.” ‘It’s got everything that Below deck has: The drama, the romance, the hardworking conditions, the work drama, personal drama, cramped spaces,” Cronin said. “If you took everything on Below Deck and just put it on its side 30 degrees and had it all fall, that would be this new show.”
