In Season 19 of The Voice, ‘Worth the Wait’, a country-pop trio from Alabama, had a strong stint.
As part of Blake Shelton’s squad, the family band from Centre, comprising of sisters Mia and Jacy Matthews, and their mother, Tara Matthews, made it to the top 17 on the NBC reality show.

On the 2nd of November this year, Worth the Wait performed “When Will I Be Loved.” in the blind audition.
This audition encouraged all four of the coaches to turn around their seats, signaling their teams needed to have Worth the Wait. The band chose judge Shelton.
On November 9, the band competed, dueting and dueling for the favor of Shelton, against teammate Taryn Papa. At that time, they performed “Little White Church.” Similarly, the band also competed with other contestants including teammate Ben Allen and performed as a member of the top 17.
On December 1, Worth the Wait covered Martina McBride’s “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.” In a four-way knockout, the band sang, playing against three more competitors.
