Julie Hanna is an animal educator at the Columbus Zoo. She is popular for being the daughter of a director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. In fact, she is the youngest daughter of Jack Hanna and Suzi Egli.
Jack’s family revealed in April 2021 that he had been diagnosed with dementia and he will no longer make public appearances. The family said in a statement:

Julie Hanna is the youngest daughter of Jack Hanna and Suzi Egli. She was born and raised in parts of Tennessee, the U.S. state. She is an American by nationality. As for Julie’s father, Jack, he is a retired zookeeper and former director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. He was director of the zoo from 1978 to 1992. He was born on January 2, 1947, and is currently 74 years old. He spent his entire childhood in his hometown in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Jack went to an all-boys boarding school, The Kiski School based in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania. Likewise, he is a graduate of Muskingum College where he learned business and political science. After graduating from college, he and his wife, Suzi opened a pet shop and petting zoo. He rose to stardom after he started doing his own TV shows such as Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures, Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild and Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures. In April 2021, Jack’s family revealed that he had been diagnosed with dementia, then believed to be Alzheimer’s disease.
