Vitalik Buterin is a Russian-Canadian programmer and writer who is widely recognized as one of the co-founders of Ethereum which is the second-largest cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. He launched Ethereum with Gavin Wood in 2014.
In a recent interview with AI researcher Lex Fridman, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin discussed the possibility of Ethereum and Dogecoin collaborating. Lex asked Vitalik:
is there a way to leverage that power and momentum to improve Ethereum?
Vitalik replied:
If DOGE wants to somehow bridge to Ethereum, and then people can trade DOGE thousands of times a second inside of loopring, then that would be amazing.
He added:
I definitely don’t think Ethereum is opposed to dog coins. I kind of want the fans to feel like Ethereum is, at least a little bit, in spirit itself a dog coin.
