Where Is MasterChef Billie McKay Now?
Billie relocated to England less than a month after winning to work at Heston Blumenthal’s Michelin-starred The Fat Duck restaurant.
“Working there was amazing, but it wasn’t what I wanted long-term,” she says, explaining that her long-term ambition is to create a restaurant.
“I’m currently on the family farm with Mum, producing cheese. I’m still cooking, but I’m not in the mood to rush!”
Billie will now join Julie in returning to MasterChef for the Fans and Favourites series. She is now looking for a location in town to launch her own restaurant.
