The Australian Labor has had Emma Husar as a Party member for the Australian House Representative seat of Lindsay since the 2016 federal election. Emma Husar is an Australian politician who represented the knife edge western Sydney of Lindsay, which covers Perinth.  

Emma Husar had also ran as the ALP candidate for the seat of Penrith at the 2015 New South Wales Election but was unsuccessful. When the federal election was held at 2016, Fiona Scott was obviated by Ms. Husar with a swing of 4.1%.

Emma Husar Resignation

Recently in July 2018, It was reported that Emma Husar had been the subject of an internal investigation since March regarding staff complaints of workplace bullying and misconduct. 

Emma Husar contradicted the allegations and decided to take a leave shortly afterward because the threats of violence directed towards her were rising. There’s said to be more than 40 allegations being investigated by more than 20 staffs.

But perhaps the most shocking allegation was a claim she exposed herself in the company of Labor frontbencher Jason Clare. Both Emma Husar and Mr. Clare refuted the allegation.

In addition, Emma Husar has also been blamed for sexually harassing her staffs, bullying them in her electorate office and diverting labor funds into her personal bank accounts.

Labor MP Emma Husar also had the allegations of travel entitlements and treatment of her staff including bullying and sexual harassment.  

Due to all the scrutiny towards Ms. Husar and the overflowing threats towards her and her children, she has decided to resign. This afternoon, Labor MP Emma Husar said it was a sad day for her and her family as well as well-wishers. She stated:

“My family has made massive sacrifices for me, and I’ve given my all, to represent the community of Lindsay, survivors of domestic violence, people who rely on the NDIS and those who need Labor’s progressive policies”.

Labor MP Emma Husar also added:

“This vendetta lad to threats to my personal safety, the trolling of my children online and media parked outside my house around the clock. It has been terrifying for my kids and utterly traumatic for me”.

After all the investigations and allegations Labor MP Emma Husar states she had enough of it all and hence, she decides to resign. Labor MP Emma Husar said that she wouldn’t be the part of the next elections.

“Given my reputation has been completely shredded by nameless, faceless people, I see no point in waiting for this report.

Labor MP Emma Husar added;

“This stops now. Enough is enough. I’ve spoken with Bill Shorten and let him know that I won’t be recontesting the next election.”
She also said that she was going on her own terms.

Emma Husar was born on 20th April 1980 in Kingswood Australia. That makes Emma Husar age 38 y/o old currently. Emma Husar went to St. Joseph Primary School, Kingswood. Apart from that, Emma holds a degree in primary teaching from Western Sydney University.

Just like her professional life, her personal life has not been easy either. She had once stated that she had been the victim of domestic violence as a teenager. Emma got married to her former husband Peter Fenton in 2001 and has three kids Zhalia, Mitch, and Eve.  
Unfortunately, the couple had to part their ways, and now Miss Husar is a Single mum to her kids.
