The social media was ablaze on Thursday, 13 September 2018 when the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison posted a clip on the Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
The 11-second clip showed the MPs raising their hands while Fatman Scoop’s 2006 track Be Faithful was playing in the background. As far as the political context goes, the full lyrics of the music contains the repetitive use of explicit words.
However, the post was taken down later same day on account of its sexual nature. The Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison later apologized through twitter saying he was not aware of the full lyrics of the song.

As the heat was rising, the hip-hop artist Fatman Scoop himself added fuel to the fire. He joined in, in the discussion and said that the song was meant for partying and fun. He tweeted,
“I was on a flight to London while all of this was happening and I am on the ground now! Just seeing all of it!”
he added;
“As an American, I have to be APOLITICAL because I don’t know the politics, but I can say this: It’s a humbling experience to be recognized by a high official (either Scott or his people thought of me). I just don’t know why they took it down!
