‘The Flash’ star Keiynan Lonsdale released a music video called ‘Kiss the Boy.’ He took inspiration from ‘Love, Simon.’

His music video ‘Kiss the Boy’ shows the actor-singers life as a bisexual. Likewise, Lonsdale plays in the hit gay teen comedy, ‘Love, Simon’ as one of the love interests.

While explaining about ‘Kiss the Boy’ Lonsdale said,

“The teaser for Love, Simon had dropped on YouTube and then for some reason, I don’t know why the song ’Kiss the Girl’ from The Little Mermaid popped up on my feed.”

Moreover, the Lyrics of the song describes his experience as a bisexual man. And throughout the music video, he didn’t hesitate to express his sexuality.

Lonsdale revealed it wasn’t that challenging to write ‘Kiss the Boy’ saying,

“I had so much to draw off, with the movie, my own personal life and every relationship I’d been in and other people’s stories that they’d told me.”

Bisexual; dating anyone?

It only last year when the ‘Love, Simon’ star opened up regarding his sexual orientation as a bisexual. But that doesn’t stop one to be dating and making a partner.

Lonsdale opened up about being a bi-sexual on May 13. People mistook him as a gay and to clarify this, he corrected through his Instagram account saying he is more of a bi-sexual than a gay.

I gotta take the next step & actually embrace who I am, which is pretty exciting. Not faking shit anymore, not apologising for falling in love with people no matter their gender. I've become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared… no one should feel like that about themselves, especially when there is so much good life to live. Ya know more & more I see so many young people being their best / truest selves, it's fucking inspiring… so what have I been waiting for!? Who knows. Everyone in their own time. I hope we can all learn to embrace who we are & not judge people who aren't exactly the same as us. The truth is we are all family, we're all one. Just love. Keiy. ❤

Besides he provides a powerful message about himself and becoming an inspirational idol to many as he accepted his true self happily.

Not to mention the reason of coming-out as a bisexual, he said,

“ I’ve become bored of being insecure, ashamed, scared… no one should feel like that about themselves, especially when there is so much good life to live. Ya know more & more I see so many young people being their best / truest selves, it’s fucking inspiring… so what have I been waiting for!? Who knows. Everyone in their own time.”

Lonsdale also received a lot of love and support starting from his co-stars after revealing his true self publicly. But the question is; Does he have any girlfriend or boyfriend?

There doesn’t seem to be any rumors where Lonsdale is dating or seen hanging out with anyone closely. But according to a source, he got spotted with a girl but it isn’t sure that she is Lonsdale’s girlfriend.
