Last week, Olympic gold medalist swimmer Klete Keller has been identified as one of the Donald Trump supporters inside the US Capitol, as per multiple reports.
Swimming news website SwimSwam alleged in a story that after analyzing footage and screenshots of the riot, at least a dozen individuals inside the sport recognized the towering man wearing a US Olympic team jacket within the building as Mr. Keller.
When asked if they could confirm whether Mr. Keller was part of the crowd that reached the legislative building, USA Swimming did not respond. Reuters’ efforts to contact the swimmer were ineffective.
A woman who answered the phone for the real estate agency located in Colorado and Ohio where Keller works told Reuters, “we are not commenting on anything right now” and then hung up.
