The nineteen-year-old teenager killed in an attack after a neighbor heard “terrible screaming” in a Melbourne CBD apartment complex on Friday, 20 July 2018 morning. According to Commander Tim Hansen from North West Metro Region, Laa Chol has been identified as a quiet person not known for causing trouble in that Homicide scene.
Laa Chol, 19, was killed during an out-of-control party which took place on the 56th floor of the EQ Tower on Saturday morning. Laa Chol from Pakenham in Melbourne’s outer South-east got injured when a group of gangs attended the party after she was stabbed to death. The Killer of the young girl is still to be in Jail.
La Chol died at the scene shortly after a fight between the two group. They had hired the apartment in the Melbourne EQ Tower. Emergency services were called to the apartment building where Chol was killed.

According to Tim Hansen gang of people immediately left that party. When the police arrived the situation was fairly chaotic. About 12 people were assisting the Homicide squad with inquiries and the police seem to be unclear about these two groups who were known to each other previously. Both groups were of African-Australian community and all the groups aged around 19-20 years old. The attack was terrible which was in the EQ Tower’s 633 apartments in their short-term stays according to the Melbourne Real Estate manager.
The teenager from Sunshine North was taken into custody on Monday afternoon following the fatal assault on A’Beckett St Melbourne at approximately 5.15am on Saturday, 21 July 2018,” a police spokeswoman said. The arrest comes the same day as the head of Victoria Police’s priority communities division said there was no indication the young student’s death had anything to do with “warring factions” in the South Sudanese community.
The cause of death remains unclear and the police war going through the investigations about the young girl who was stabbed during a fight. Few boys were being questioned by homicide squad detectives. Police also confirmed there were questioning a youth following the death of the teenage girl, Laa Chol.S.

Commander Stuart Bateson, who is responsible for liaising with the African-Australian Community Taskforce, which was established by police and community leaders earlier this year, said the community was suffering from “widespread grief and a widespread desire to bring perpetrators to justice” and was fully co-operating with police to find those responsible.
Victorian Police Commander Stuart Bateson told 3AW radio on Monday it was a “tragic death” but there was no suggestion her death was related to warring Sudanese gangs and nor was she a gang member. There have been widespread grief among the community and appealed for the justice in the Victoria. They said that there were some issues that need to be tackled in regards to crime related to the Australian African community and need to be conducted in a sensible way. Police are still searching for those involved.

Premier Daniel Andrews said on Monday Ms. Chol’s death was another example of a woman’s life cut short, citing other recent deaths across the country including Eurydice Dixon’s murder in Melbourne.”This is as much a violence-against-women issue as it is anything else,” he told ABC radio.
