Previous rugby player and handicap campaigner Rob Burrow passed away at 41 years old from motor neuron sickness. Rob Burrow resigned from playing in 2017 and was diagnosed with the illness in 2019. He raised millions to bring issues to light of the infection, close by previous colleague Kevin Sinfield.
Rob Burrow’s most recent social media post was about his better half, Lindsey, an author, titled Lindsey Tunnel: Take Care. Despite the hardships they have faced, they maintain a positive attitude, deriving inspiration from others living with MND and using a “no-cry strategy” at home.
Rob has shown enormous gratitude for Lindsey’s assistance, describing her as his superhuman. Lindsey is also featured in a story on the challenges that caregivers like herself face, exemplifying the power of love and duty in the face of adversity.

Lindsey Burrow is a wonderful wife
In 2006, Burrow wed Lindsey, his childhood sweetheart, and the two went on to have three kids together. Regarding the possibility of living without her spouse, Lindsey remarked,
“He always says, ‘Find somebody else, you’re still young.'”Nobody else will ever exist. No one can ever replace Rob.”
Lindsey Burrow’s wife has been actively involved in her husband’s fundraising activities. In 2023, she participated in the first Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and raised nearly £53,000.
Burrow and Sinfield took part in this as well. Lindsey has shown incredible commitment to helping her spouse and spreading knowledge about motor neuron disease. During his heartfelt tribute, Sinfield said,
