Milo Seal mother Lynn Shelton died onĀ May 15, in Los Angeles at the age of 54.
Marc Maron, Sheltonās romantic and creative partner, broke the news toĀ IndieĀ Wire. He indicated that her sudden and unexpected death was not from COVID-19, but due to a previously unidentified blood disorder.
He said:
āI have some awful news. Lynn passed away last night. She collapsed yesterday morning after having been ill for a week. There was a previously unknown, underlying condition. It was not COVID-19. The doctors could not save her. They tried. Hard.ā
She is survived by her son Milo Seal, her husbandĀ Kevin Seal, her parents Wendy and Alan Roedell, and David āMacā Shelton and Frauke Rynd.Ā
Her brothers David Shelton, Robert Rynd, and sister Tanya Rynd, as well as Maron, with whom she spent the last year of her life.
Her colleagues, friends, and fans took to social media to give their tributes and well wishes to the family.
