To do the backflips, she took inspirations from the American Ninja Warrior, Jake Murray which is why she wanted to be the first woman to do so.
Vivian told the News.Coms.Au,
“Once I could consistently make it up the wall in training, I had a crack at the backflip. It’s the scariest, unnatural movement.”

Olivia Vivian boyfriend, age 25, revealed that he fell in love with her after they met at an official Ninja training academy following the first season of the show.
He described the first impression of Olivia as ‘good-looking.’ He said,
‘She doesn’t care what anyone else thinks and I was really attracted to that… and here we are.’
Former Olympian, Olivia expressed how their first 60 minutes meeting turned into a seven-hour chat. Speaking to The West Australian, she remembered,
“Two other members didn’t show up, and this one-hour meeting went for seven hours. We didn’t get any work done, it was just that connection.”
They had their first date in at Perth’s Cottesloe Beach. Olivia’s boyfriend revealed,
‘We had fish and chips, watched the sunset, went for a swim and may or may not have watched The Bachelorette.’

Australian Ninja Warrior Olivia Vivian competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics. At that time, she contributed the highest score of her team on Uneven Bars. And helped the Australian women to a historic 6th-place finish.
Competing for all four events, Vivian helped her team in winning the silver medal. After the 2008 Olympics, Olivia competed for Oregon State University in NCAA gymnastics for around four years.
