A father working three jobs and a mother alone with no immediate family or friends raising children. We’re proud, blessed and honoured to call Australia home. Australia is built on the back of multiculturalism. We need better education, programs and awareness around our refugee policy. We’re all human and we all deserve to have basic necessities such as food, water and a roof over our head. Whether family, a friend or a colleague we somehow are associated with a “refugee”. I hope as Australians we all start to be more accepting and understanding of refugees. Feeling safe is a human right for everyone.
