He defended himself by saying ‘It’s been a bad year-and-a-half. I’ve never run from child support and I’ve always tried to pay it. Right now, it’s about $900 and something a month and I’m not making it. I’m not trying to run away from it. … I just haven’t been able to pay it in the last year-and-a-half.”
