Terry Stubblefield is the wife of former professional American footballer Dana William Stubblefield who is a convicted rapist.
On Thursday, the former NFL player Dana Stubblefield received a sentence of 15 years to life in prison. As per the court documents, he raped a disabled woman in his home while using a pistol in April 2015.
The court declared Stubblefield to be guilty of rape by force, fear of menace, and also guilty of using a firearm to commit the crime. Following the conviction, Tim McInerny, a County Deputy District Attorney, said,
He took advantage of her, he preyed on her, he though because of her disability and the fact that they were alone that she wouldn’t report it and that she wouldn’t be able to testify in court, but the jury felt otherwise,
Besides, the victim went to Stubblefield’s Morgan Hill House in order to give an interview as a potential babysitter.
Prior to that, his lawyers called the charges “absolutely ridiculous” and said the charges were motivated by money. Plus, in the past, Stubblefield has faced legal troubles.
