In Season Two of The Summit, 14 strangers will set out with an equal share of one million dollars and must climb the 2400-meter top of a faraway New Zealand mountain in just 15 days to earn money.
Along the way, they’ll have to work as a team to navigate treacherous terrain and harsh climates and face adrenaline-fueled obstacles in their trek to the summit. But will they make it to the summit in time or vote each other off the mountain, and who will walk away with the money? Jai Courtney returns as host, among several recognizable names from the second season cast.

CASTS
Mat
Mat is a football icon and ‘The Godfather’ of Australian Survivor. He has engaged in several adventures and challenges with a competitive bent, but he has never done anything like this. Mat is a former professional rugby league player. After a spectacular career with Queensland, the Kangaroos, and the Wallabies (when he moved to rugby union), Mat returned to the NRL to play with the Gold Coast Titans.
After two rounds of Australian Survivor, Mat understands that size and physical power aren’t what will get you to the finish; it’s about strategy and outwitting the competition. And, while he is emotionally and physically prepared to scale the peak, one thing worries him: “I am afraid of heights! A genuine fear of heights. I couldn’t even go on a Ferris wheel, but I’m hoping my competition mode kicks in and I can get through it.”
Simmone
Simmone is a popular Australian television personality known for her work on the long-running McLeod’s Daughters series. She has stepped away from the spotlight to raise her 13-year-old son. As a single mother, Simmone is accustomed to giving to others rather than having time for herself, so embarking on an expedition like The Summit is something she is doing to make not just her family proud, but also herself.
Tiffani
Tiffani, who claims to be ‘a parent of six wild kids, seven if you count my spouse,’ has had a life and career filled with both highs and lows. Tiffani rose to prominence as a vocalist on the reality show Popstars. She was also a member of the Australian girl band Bardot, which had number one hit singles, was nominated for ARIA Awards, and toured the world. But when the band disbanded, Tiffani’s life altered significantly.

Olympia
Olympia, a fantastic entertainer, admits that her life isn’t always perfect and superficial. She uses internet entertainment for attractive things but admits to experiencing bad experiences, such as preterm births and IVF.
Olympia is both amusing and humble, having never climbed in her life. She believes that her next ascent will reveal who she is and will allow her to maintain the masquerade of being aware of the opposition. Her weakness is in gratifying and eliminating people. She believes that various climbers will be slower than her to catch on to the hoax.
Glen ‘Sharksey’
Glen is an ex-digger and poker player from the Gold Coast. Glen is referred to as Sharksey by the elderly ladies of poker. He hopes to use his thinking personality and high ethical standards to avoid being perceived as a risk.
Regardless of the challenges of a contest in which individual explorers must release, Glen believes in the power of giving and the willingness to be a poop hole if necessary. He admits that departing his loved ones will be more enthusiastic than he initially expects, but he is not determined to push through any apprehension or suffering to conclude.
David
David is the technical director for the West Australian Ballet and has worked for some of Australia’s and the world’s largest companies and events, including the Sydney, London, and Beijing Olympics.
David is a thinker and strategist who enjoys riddles and understands that flexibility combined with a battle plan is essential for success. David hopes to make his children proud, but he also understands that reaching the pinnacle will be difficult. But nothing will stop him.
Lochie
Lochie is a third-generation dairy farmer and local government politician from Tasmania. He was born and raised there. As one of four brothers, he inherited competition and desire.
Lochie is used to working hard on the farm, often getting up at 3 a.m. and working until 10 p.m., and he feels this will benefit him physically on The Summit, as well as his political side, in the social game.
Taylor
Taylor is a stevedore from Melbourne. He is a natural leader who understands that to avoid seeming in charge, he must move back. Taylor, who grew up playing AFL and rugby, has always sought to challenge himself, and he is looking forward to what The Summit has in store for him. He is a competitive guy who enjoys helping people and aspires to combine the two on the mountain.
Phil
Phil, a survivor of the Bali bombings, has spent the past 21 years fighting and conquering the most difficult of challenges. As captain of his football club, Phil and his 19 teammates were in Bali when the assaults left him assumed dead for 12 hours, with his front teeth blasted out, shrapnel wounds, and burns covering 60% of his body.
After his rehabilitation, Phil acquired a passion for martial arts and motivational speaking. Phil, who is married with three children, believes that his experiences will prepare him for the summit. “When the chips are down on the mountain, I will undoubtedly be able to change the narrative. One of his key motives for taking on The Summit is to honor his friends who didn’t return home,
Theo
Theo is another cast member of the popular show Summit. Theo is a Stay-at-home dad and local footy coach. He has stated that his most important thing is his family. Leaving his family behind will be the most hardest thing for Theo to do, but he knows their belief in him will help him get through the difficult times. “I want them to never be afraid to take a chance and accomplish something they never believed possible. They handed me a bracelet with the initials YGT, which stood for “You’ve Got This.”
Trisha
Trisha is a Muluridji lady, a mother of two, and a personal trainer. Following her self-transformation about six years ago, she enjoys motivating and encouraging women to take care of themselves, as well as inspiring others around her.
While she is not concerned about the physical aspects of trekking up the summit, she admits there will be a few things to worry about. “I’m terrified of green frogs and snakes. I know frogs aren’t terrifying, yet I am scared of them. I also believe I’ll miss actual meals and coffee. I was probably meant to mention my family, but coffee, haha.”
Charlotte
Charlotte is used to being underestimated, but her tenacity and wicked sense of humor show she isn’t one to give up. Charlotte was born with a congenital birth condition that has left her with just half an arm, but this hasn’t stopped her before, and it won’t stop her from reaching the summit.
Ros
Roslyn is a wild and colorful person. She lives on a farm in Queensland with her two children and professes to be a jack of all crafts but a master of none. She’s competitive and up for a new challenge.
Ros becomes serious as she discusses how reaching the summit will not only benefit her personally, but also allow her to maintain her land. Ros, who admits she’s on the verge of losing it, refuses to give up easy. “I don’t want to win one million bucks. I need to win one million dollars. I will not be the first or the last farmer in this circumstance, but there is no want, only necessity.”
Ava
Ava is an aerospace engineer. Sh has worked at NASA, admits that her day-to-day work involves true rocket science. Ava, one of the few ladies at NASA, much alone Australian girls, is a trailblazer who is eager to go on the experience of a lifetime by ascending the top. She confesses that her frank honesty might get her in trouble at times, but she isn’t hesitant to play a cutthroat game if it means winning for her family.
Ava’s strong attitude and interaction skills make her an excellent candidate for flying projects in Alabama. Despite her raw authenticity, she would not hesitate to play a callous game to win for her loved ones.
