Tony McCarroll, the former drummer for the Manchester-based band Oasis, has disclosed that he was rushed to the hospital after suffering a heart attack. After being admitted to hospital, he thanked the NHS for their care.
According to the Star Reports, the drummer of the Manchester band headlined by Noel and Liam Gallagher had a big health scare last week. On Twitter, he released a statement,

Drummer McCarroll rose to prominence in the 1990s as one of the founding members of Oasis, with childhood buddy Liam Gallagher. However, after a tumultuous breakup in 1995, McCarroll quit the band. Alan White took over as the band’s drummer and stayed with them until 2004.
