Following his ill-fated stint on Nine’s social experiment, Married At First Sight star Cameron Dunne has announced he is dating someone new. 

Cameron, who was formerly involved in a love triangle with his ‘wife’ Samantha Harvey and fellow bride Coco Stedman, spoke to TV Week on Monday about his new relationship. Mr. Dunne said, 

I’m dating at the moment; I’m seeing someone,’ 

In addition to that, when asked if he dated Coco after their short on-screen romance, Cameron gave a vague response. He added, 

‘I want to keep it separate.’ ‘That’s the hardest thing now. You start a new relationship and people see me date on TV in current time, when it actually happened four months ago.’ 

Cameron’s ex-wife Samantha Harvey mocked his bedroom appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Monday, after the revelations.

On the reality TV show, Samantha Harvey was upset that the experts had partnered her with Cameron Dunne, who had cheated on her during the experiment and had not given their relationship a chance. It comes after Samantha’s emotional breakdown on Sunday’s episode of Married At First Sight, when she and Cameron decided to abandon the experiment. She said,

I came here for somebody real. I came here for a man.’ ‘I did come into this with a lot of hope, I’ve really given it my all. I’ve given this everything.’

The MAFS couples Samantha and Cameron, as well as Coco and Sam, both left the experiment after a turbulent few weeks. It unfolded after Cameron and Coco met in secret after their respective relationships began to fall apart. Coco and Cameron were expected to re-enter the experiment together, but this did not happen. 

Regardless, Cameron was satisfied with his decision to abandon the experiment due to the “pressure” that would have arisen if he had stayed. In retrospect, the groom claims he should have left at the first Commitment Ceremony, and that meeting Coco was the experiment’s highlight for him. He said, 

That was at the time where my relationship was so low and it was nice to have somebody to share that experience with. I think ’cause things were so bad with Sam I didn’t feel like I was able to by myself. And then when Coco and I started hanging out I was able to be myself and have a laugh,

Before entering the show Married at First Sight, Cameron Dunne had been single for two years after returning from working in Western Australia’s mines. And that,  he had been enjoying catching up with friends when putting work first.
