The most recent Married At First Sight Australia show revealed a cheating scandal that nobody anticipated. It has been disclosed that shortly before the Couple’s Retreat, 29-year-old MAFS bride Sara Mesa met up for supper with her ex-boyfriend.

Before the group left for Byron Bay, another bride Eden Harper told her fiancé Jayden Eynaud that Sara had messaged her to ask to borrow a shirt for a dinner she was hosting that evening. When Eden inquired about her dinner plans, Sara candidly revealed to her that she was “seeing [her] ex-boyfriend.”
Sara has been transparent about her relationship with her former partner since the beginning of the show, saying outright that he “cheated on [her] multiple times with multiple women but [she] just kept going back to him for four or five years.” She told MAFS in her introduction,
“He had an emotional pull over me and I couldn’t help myself, even though it was toxic and manipulative.”
Even though Eden has just told Jayden about this information thus far, we anticipate a huge blowup in the next episode. Jayden said:
We know that they were obviously talking in some way of communication, and we know that they met up, Talking, whether it’s call or messaging, that’s a form of cheating, and meeting up with your ex-partner behind your husband’s back is also a form of cheating, No matter what way you look at it, it’s wrong.”
The scandal was actually revealed to have been leaked by Daily Mail before to the episode’s airing, as the outlet was informed by an insider that Eden confronts Sara with the bombshell claims during this week’s dinner party because she didn’t think it was right the way she was treating Tim. The insider went on, She gave her a chance to be honest… and then Sara tells the group about catching up with her ex.
Eden struggled with whether to tell others about this secret or keep it to herself, as depicted on screen. Eden remarked.
When it comes out, they’re all going to despise me, so I’m pretty anxious about that, and if I don’t do that, then Jayden’s gonna hate me for doing the wrong thing.”
According to reports, Sara and Eden grew close during the filming process. Sara had previously told the sources,
“We had a close relationship right away. “We were probably the first two people to really confide in each other. In this way, I thought I could trust her. As though I could tell her about my background and emotions.”
