The audiences of ‘The Block’ are relieved following Sara Vale’s meltdown on ‘The Block’ episode aired on Sunday, 26 August 2018. The Block “villain” Sara Vale broke down after coming last again in spite of an expensive bathroom renovation which included an $11,000 brass bathtub.
After the meltdown, the Block contestant Sara Vale walked off the stage directing abusive words towards the director and the judges. Whether Sara will return or not it is unclear but the audiences think the show is better off without her.
The Block features five couples competing to best renovate and redesign apartments and buildings in the Sydney and the suburbs of Bondi. The Block Cast of 2018 includes the retired Australian netball player Bianca Chatfield age 35 and Carla Dziwoki age 35.
The other ‘The Block Cast’ 2018 are Hans Baumgartner (age 37) and Courtney Brown (age 33), Norm Hogan (age 40) and Jess Eva (age 33) Kerrie Charter (age 48) and Her Husband Spence Thompson (age 46).

The Block Contestant 2018 Sara Vale Meltdown
The Block episode which aired last Monday was quite a dramatic episode. Hayden and Sara Vale task was to refurbish the bathrooms at St. Gilda’s. However, when the time came for judgment, Hayden and Sara Vale got the lowest score again.
It was the third time since the beginning that Hayden and Sara Vale got consistently poor scores. This incident frustrated Sara Vale, and she had a meltdown. She yelled,
“AGAIN, last? Even after EVERYTHING, LAST. You’ve GOT to be kidding me. This is F**KED. IT’S F**KED, IT’S F**KING EMBARRASSING NOW”
As she screamed those words to the judges, she left the set vowing never to come back. Sara continued,
“I’m not f***ing coming back. Dead f***ing set I’m f**king over this. I don’t want to do this anymore, I’m over it. F**k this I’m going mate. “
Sara Vale also accused the judges of ‘personally attacking her’ after the Judge Shaynna Blaze labeled Sara’s room ‘boring,’ ‘soulless’ and a ‘standard display home.’ Sara felt the criticism was aimed at her personally.
However, Shanya Blaze defends herself telling she was advising Sara Vale to be better at her work. She says,
“It was … good advice. Whether or not she likes it is a whole other kettle of fish. I just can’t be bothered with high hopes again I actually don’t know if they really listened. They think they’ve got the direction absolutely perfect.”
As Sara Vale was leaving the set, the producer of the show tries to comfort her to return the show. However, Sara was beyond reasoning at the time. She told the producer, it was ’embarrassing’ for her to continue the show. She said to the producer, sobbing,
“‘I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to do this if we’re going to constantly come last and be embarrassed on national TV. Why would I want to be here? Why would I want to do this? We’re being made to look like absolute fools. That bathroom did not deserve to be last”
