The first wife of Mr. Goodman left him for a millionaire, but he said he can’t blame her.’ He revealed,
I can’t blame her. He was a multimillionaire. That helped, I guess. It wasn’t a tragedy, although it was a shock because I’d always thought that I would be the one who would shove off.
Mr. Goodman then had a long term relationship with Lesley. Len Goodman wrote,

At that time, Len was 36 years old. He wrote that Lesley was the ex-wife of “a bloke named Wilf Pine who directed the Black Sabbath band.” Len shares a son named James with Lesley.
