Congratulations to the New Miss Nigeria 2018, Chidinma Leilani Aaron. Last night, she wore the crown at the Miss Nigeria coronation event in Lagos. Miss Nigeria, Chidinma Leilani Aaron represented the South-East Zone.
However, the journey to becoming a winner of 2018’s Miss Nigeria beauty pageant crown wasn’t easy at all. She had to defeat other 12 contestants fighting for the Miss Nigeria title.
Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Kaylah Oniwo hosted the coronation event. Whereas, the guest judges counts Tatiana Mousali, Tukur, David Wej, and Grace Uredi. Besides, Konye Nwabogor, Leesi Peter-Vigboro, Fade Ogunro, and Rita Dominic were also judging the contestants.
The grand finale took place at the Eko Convention Centre on Sunday. Before the selection of the final twelve, eighteen contestants made it to the grand finale. Some of the contestants to make it to the top 12 included: Thomas Mseve, Otunba Ifunaya, Ntan Nton, Egede Lagele, and Shitta Remilekun.
Aaron emerged when the number of contestants was reduced to five. So, the final five contestants were; Ntan Sharon Nton, Agida Stephanie, Dunu Chisom, Aaron Chidinma Leilani, and Ameh Munirah.
While Dunu Chisom was the first runner-up, Ameh Munirah became the 2nd runners-up. Last but not the least Chidinma won the Miss Nigeria 2018, ranking 42nd.
