During an interview, when asked what was it that made her Participate into CrossFit Games. She replied,
“I used to play rugby before I got into CrossFit. The girls’ team practiced at the same time as the guys.”
“And a lot of the guys were using CrossFit-type of workouts to do conditioning. At some point, they challenged me to come to try, and that was it. I was hooked.”

“As soon as that happened, I wasn’t in a mood of feeling sorry for myself. I just had a new focus, and that focus was making my shoulder as strong as possible again.”
With the start of 2018 competition season just after her shoulder rehabilitation, she responds,
“I’m so excited to compete. Maybe more excited than I’ve ever been.”
