After the demise of his father, he has told that he would not let his father’s death become the end of his music career. His father Charlie Edward Daniels was born on October 28, 1936, and he died a few months ago in 6th July 2020 of a hemorrhagic stroke. He was an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He made contributions to Southern rock, country, and bluegrass music. The Devil Went Down to Georgia, was one of his best song which was a number-one country hit.

He has got a lot of achievements in his career as he was inducted into the  Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame in 2002, the Grand Ole Opry in 2008, the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2009, and the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016.
