Danny Hodgson’s girlfriend has given some exciting news.
Hodgson, who was left in an intensive care unit after reportedly being bashed by a teenager in September, has finally been moved out of Royal Perth Hospital’s trauma department and onto Fiona Stanley’s rehabilitation unit.
Hodgson had been at RPH for 82 days, with his parents traveling down from the UK and undergoing 14 days of hotel quarantine before seeing their son.
Jessica Pollock, Hodgson’s girlfriend, rushed to Instagram on Wednesday night with a hopeful update following months of fear and anxiety that Hodgson would not survive. “Danny has been transferred to his rehabilitation place at Fiona Stanley today,” she wrote.
“What an amazing feeling on this rollercoaster journey we’ve had, to know this is where Danny will get better.
“Such an emotional day.
“We’ve cried – but happy tears.”
