Late Erica Supreme Barrier was the daughter of Eric B. (Louis Eric Barrier) of legendary ’80s hip-hop duo Eric B. & Rakim. Erica Supreme Barrier, age 28, was driving northbound on I-91 near exit 22 in Cromwell, Connecticut, in the early hours of Sunday morning, when her vehicle stopped in the middle of the road.
A Penske truck was unable to halt at 12:37 a.m. before the rear-end of Barrier’s Mini Cooper Countryman vehicle ET, according to a report from the police. A 28-year-old man drove the truck.
