As reported by the Fairfax media, the man named Kieren Gallagher, age 31, has been stalking Fricker since May. Speculations say that the man tailgated the staff member and entered the building in Ultimo.
Police stated that the man named Gallagher managed to grab and kiss Fricker while she was still on the air. The incident took place on Wednesday at about 2.30pm on September 5.
Besides, police arrested the man in the morning at 7.45am near Central Station. The man appeared before Central Local Court and received charges with stalking, trespassing, common assault, and intimidation with intent to cause fear.
As of now, the man is under assessment of the Mental Health Act and will soon return to court.
