Police don’t believe Ivona Jovanovic’s cause of death is related to bikie or domestic violence.
Instead, they are suspecting the gunfire was an accident. Detective Acting Superintendent Brendan Smith told the press the weapon allegedly used was not licensed and “this is a clear example of where things go wrong”.
Despite this assumption, he said Ivona Jovanovic’s cause of death was still a mystery.
“We want to get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible,” he said.
