Six-time CrossFit Games athlete Margaux Alvarez made a shocking revelation through an email blast on last Friday.
Following the incident, she was fired from her position as a CFL3 instructor. Alvarez was a staff in the L1 seminar for the last five-and-a-half years.
The email had a subject line “Why I’m not doing the Open”. She began the newsletter explaining for her to be competitive she needs travel to sea level and she just doesn’t have the time or interest to spend money on that.

“The owner of CF doesn’t really care about us competing in CF, so I will continue to spread the word of CF Methodology through seminars.”
