After Norma Gibson accused her ex of abusing their child on August 19, 2017, things between the pair got worse. She alleged, as per the court documents, that her ex-husband,
pushed our daughter to the ground, pinned her face down, put her knees on her back, grabbed her hands with one arm and beat her with the other.
Mrs. Gibson has said that “between 12 and 16 times” he beat Shayla, so much so that the child could not sit down. She also said that her ex-husband hit her “a number of times in the past including when I was pregnant with our daughter.”
Tyrese Gibson dismissed the allegations, saying they were “hurtful lies.”
Refusing to Work
Legal fights between Tyrese Gibson and ex-wife Norma Gibson continue, with Norma declining to get a career on her own. According to legal records reviewed by TMZ, the court-ordered child support agreement between the exes allows Norma to work to become self-sufficient, but she doesn’t do so.
At a deposition, Gibson’s lawyers asked Norma what she was doing on August 21 that needed seven hours of childcare support, with Norma stating that she was occupied, ‘living life.’ She added,
