Benedikte is the girlfriend of Prince Nikolai. He is the eldest son of Prince Joachim and his first wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg. Prince Nikolai was born on 28 August 1999, at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) in Copenhagen. He’s currently seventh in the line of succession to the Danish throne.
