If you need energy to get through your workout and train your best, then definitely eat something before you train! And if you find you get light headed or dizzy during your workouts, that’s a sign of low blood sugar levels, so you should definitely eat something before your workout! 🍌 Usually a small carb based snack 30min-1hr before you work out can be good, but again do what works for you! 👌🏼 If you train first thing, early in the morning, you might find you don’t need to eat anything and can just have breakfast after your workout. Note that high fat, high fibre foods may upset your stomach during a workout, especially if you’re a runner (it can actually cause “runners gut” where your stomach hurts and you need to run to the toilet 💩 ). Personally I don’t eat before early morning runs or my HIIT sessions, but I do eat before gym sessions with heavy weights! 🏋🏼‍♀️ Again, do what works for YOU! Do you eat before you eat train?
