As of now, Juanita Phillips partner is a former Australian politician and trade unionist, Greg Combet. And it’s been more than a year that they have been together.
In those years, Phillips and her partner faced several controversies. Due to a conflict of interest which emerged after her partner encountered an ICAC inquiry into government corruption, Phillips got removed from one evening’s ABC News bulletin in the May 2013.
The same year, the two begin some controversy for a first-class overseas trip paid from government funds in 2013; however, they are still happy with each other.

Previously, after a six-week courtship, Juanita Phillips married an Australian graphic designer in the year 2002. However, she separated with her ex-husband in 2010.
She describes the separation from her husband and being a single mother to her children saying,
“It’s been cataclysmic. It’s a crushing sense of responsibility. The hardest thing is not having a co-parent to discuss things with. I have to make all the decisions on my own. But I’ve found a strength I never realized I had.”
Her now-ex-husband was interstate for rehabilitation from bowel cancer while Phillip took carer’s leave from the ABC to care for their children. She nursed Milostic for about 18 months while he was battling with his bowel cancer.
Phillip said,
“The longer I’m out of my marriage, the more I’m learning about what was going on at that time. I felt like I was drowning. I was trying to make things work, and the book was part of that – trying to come up with solutions.”
The couple separated their ways after the journalist allegedly found a series of lewd text messages on his mobile phone.
