To replace Tom Herman, Texas has announced that the team will be led by Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian. Mr. Sarkisian said,

The decision to move on from Herman was taken after reviewing, according to a statement issued by Texas, the strengths and weaknesses of the program.

It comes just four days after UT in the Alamo Bowl blew out Colorado 55-23 with several young players sparkling in the game.
