Besides, it’s not the first time that Angela Ponce tried for the beauty pageant. Angela Ponce competed in the year 2015 on the Miss World Stage but lost to Miss Barcelona Mireia Lalaguna.
At that time, Angela Ponce told the Spanish newspaper 20 Minutos,
“Society is not educated for diversity, it’s what made me go public, I mean, here I am and I’m not weird,”
“I just have a different story, a woman who came to life differently but I’m a woman.”
