Real state Developer, businessman and Former Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer is declared bankrupt by a Federal Circuit Court after his company failed to pay the debt of over $200,000.
Salim Mehajer bankruptcy application was supported by many creditors, including the Australian Tax Office and Prime Marble & Granite which was the company that had built an opulent staircase in Salim Mehajer multi-million-dollar Lidcombe home.

The picture you’re looking at is the staircase that took down Former Auburn deputy mayor Salim Mehajer. Back in 2014, Salim Mehajer had a contract with Prime Marble & Granite to install the staircase and other stonework at his multi-million-dollar Lidcombe home, $3 million to be exact.

After the company had finished the job they invoiced Salim Mehajer with a bill of $596,178, which he did not pay. According to a report published in Daily Telegraph, it states that Salim Mehajer submitted an agreement with the company to issue an equivalent credit note but he failed to get the deal.
Salim Mehajer is in jail waiting for his trial as he is staging his car crash to avoid court appearance last year. Salim Mehajer was charged with perverting the course of the justice and the conspiracy to defraud.
