It’s not a matter to worry about cause he is not going to leave his partner forever, it’s just for six months. Master Chef Reece Hignell also admits that the competition took a charge on his relationship with his boyfriend.
Master Chef Reece Hignell and his partner, Dean has been together for four years. Talking about his partner he said,
“It [the show] definitely affected it,” “Leaving your partner for six months is hard – it was tough. Dean was at home looking after bills by himself, and I’m out here not contributing.”
Master Chef Reece Hignell further added,
“So, I felt very guilty.”
Moreover, Reece Hignell and his partner Dean struggled to find the time to work through their issues. Hignell explained,
“You can’t just sit and talk on the phone, because other people need to use it,”
“You don’t have unlimited time to talk, but even when you do talk it’s hard to get everything across. I felt guilty I wasn’t contributing to the relationship as much as I could.”
